LOGAN SQUARE — Ready or not, the largest development in Logan Square's history is sprouting quickly along Milwaukee Avenue.
The controversial "Twin Towers" project broke ground in November, but things have sped up at the site as the two towers, one 11 stories and the other 12 stories, begin to take shape.
For a taste of how high the buildings are going to be, head out to Milwaukee at Belden and take a look at the crane towering over the neighborhood.
The project, which divided the neighborhood during the planning phases, will include more than 200 apartments.
