WOODLAWN — A 24-year-old man was shot in his buttocks in Woodlawn Thursday evening, police said.

Around 5:50 p.m., the man was walking in the 6600 block of South Blackstone Avenue in Woodlawn when he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Jackson Park Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, Sedevic said.

Police said the man was being uncooperative with authorities.
