LINCOLN PARK — This year's installment of ZooLights at Lincoln Park Zoo was the most successful yet.

A total of 530,000 people visited ZooLights this year, partaking in the annual holiday tradition of admiring the zoo lit up with more than two million lights and 100 LED light displays. That's compared to 500,000 people who came out last year.

This year, the zoo hosted its first-ever Adults Night Out and the second annual BrewLights, which adds craft beer to the spectacle.

“Watching ZooLights flourish and spread from one generation to the next has been extremely rewarding,” said Joshua Rupp, director of events. "From the addition of LED light displays to Family Nights, the event truly grows with the guests.”
