CHICAGO — Consider yourself an particularly knowledgeable in chemistry, engineering or computer sciences? You might be the perfect person to judge a North Side science fair.

Chicago Public Schools is seeking volunteer judges for its Regional Network Science Fair being held Friday, Jan. 22 at Northeastern Illinois University, 5510 N. St. Louis Ave., in North Park.

The fair is for students in grades sixth through eighth who will be showing their research in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Winners of the fair will go on to the city-wide science fair in March.

Volunteer judges will need to be available for at least an hour stretch on Friday, Jan. 22. Those interested in finding out more can check out the judging registration form here:
