Lincoln Park Armed Robberies May Be Connected, Police Say

LINCOLN PARK — Two recent armed robberies in Lincoln Park may be connected, according to a police alert. 

The first robbery occurred in the 600 block of West Kemper Place — on the same block as Lincoln Elementary School — on Nov. 18 at 11:30 p.m., according to the alert. The second robbery occurred in the 2100 block of North Lincoln Park West on Dec. 10 at 11 p.m.

In the incidents, two or three armed robbers got out of a car and demanded money from people on the street.

Police describe the suspects as Hispanic males, between 24 and 26 years of age, between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11 and 150-160 lbs. The suspects may have been driving a blue or silver four-door Chrysler, according to police.
