MOUNT GREENWOOD — Mount Greenwood Park will host the annual Winter Wonderland holiday celebration from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday.

The park at 3724 W. 111th St. will be visited by Santa in his sleigh along with Mrs. Claus. Pictures with the famous couple are encouraged.

Visitors are also invited to take a sleigh ride through the park as well as enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and various holiday movies. A seasonal crafting station will also be available for children.

A tree lighting ceremony will also take place at dusk, and a magician will entertain the crowd at 4 p.m. Traditionally, ice skating is also available at the free event, but the outdoor rink at the park remains closed due to repairs.
