CHICAGO — Supt. Garry McCarthy's resignation surprised everyone — including the police.
Luckily, some of their reactions were recorded. Popular crime blog @CWBChicago recorded police and dispatchers chatting after they heard of McCarthy being ousted on Tuesday. Some were surprised, while others poked a bit of fun at Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
