LINCOLN SQUARE — Meet the newest member of the "Chicago Fire/P.D./Med" television family: "Chicago Sanitation."
From producer Dick Wolf, the action-packed hour-long drama showcases the personal sacrifices and heroic efforts made by "those who clean."
From the trailer:
Generically pretty blonde wife: "You never have time for this family."
Generically hunky husband: "The garbage doesn't wait, babe. It needs to be picked up every day."
A bridge too far, you say?
Well, yeah. It's a spoof from Funny Or Die.
It's already got at least one real actor in the "Chicago" stable excited:
YES! 😂 RT @EW: @FunnyorDie's addition to NBC's 'Chicago' franchise, 'Chicago Sanitation' https://t.co/8ACAAiHJo7 😂 pic.twitter.com/COOs0Z6dx6

But it got us thinking, what other Chicago-based series could Wolf possibly add at this point?
How about "Chicago Park District: Forestry Division"? "Let's get out there and save some ash!"
Or maybe "Chicago Transit"? "Bus bunching? Not on my watch!"
Our personal favorite would have to be "Chicago Hyperlocal News Website." "If we don't cover that Local School Council meeting, nobody will!"
Chicago Med Debuts with Rahm, an L Crash and "Promising Ratings."
