CHICAGO — This weekend the city got its first taste of chilly, November-appropriate weather and the hint that winter is soon on the horizon.

To bid the reveled pumpkin spice-laden season adieu, one resourceful Chicagoan decided to prepare for turkey stuffing season by instead stuffing a pumpkin full of exploding devices.

The person filmed it, too, saying his main motivations were to feel better about the Cubs losing game four of the NLCS championship, and obviously "making a sweet video."

"Only a pumpkin was harmed in the making of this video, and I apologize to my neighbors," the person told DNAinfo.
