HYDE PARK — It will be a lazy family day at the Smart Museum of Art on Saturday with family day activities making pillows.

The museum at 5550 S. Greenwood Ave. will hold a workshop from 1-4 p.m. for families to silkscreen, sew and stuff pillows.

The museum recommends the activity is best for kids age 4-12 and is a way for kids to get inspired by the “Expressionist Impulses” exhibit.

The event is free and open to the public.
