CHICAGO — Just in time for the holidays.
The Hallmark store in Michigan Plaza, 225 N. Michigan Ave., is selling Christmas ornaments of Jared Allen in a Chicago Bears uniform, despite the veteran pass-rusher being traded last month.
The ornaments are showcased in a prime spot in the store's front window, right next to ones of Jonathan Toews, the captain of your Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks.

When asked, a Hallmark employee stocking the ornaments Tuesday said the store was aware of the trade. In spite of this knowledge, the store is still asking full price for the ornaments: $17.95.
Allen, 33, was traded to the Carolina Panthers last month after signing a four-year, $32 million contract with the Bears in 2014. The Bears will pay $11.5 million of Allen's salary this year, and received a conditional sixth-round pick in return for the five-time Pro Bowler.
