Chicago's Biggest Royals Fan Sports One of The City's Best Mustaches

By Justin Breen | October 27, 2015 5:52am

CHICAGO — The city's biggest Royals fan, who arguably sports one of its best mustaches, is pumped for Kansas City's return trip to the World Series.

Longtime Humboldt Park resident Jeremy Schuech will be attending all of the games in his native Kansas City, including Tuesday night's Game 1 versus the Mets. New York swept the Cubs in four games to set up a best-of-seven series with K.C., which hasn't won the world championship since 1985.

Schuech, creative and social media director for a few Chicago-based companies, has had a somewhat famous mustache since Sept. 26, 2014. Scheuch became part of mainstream sports discussion that day after he and his epic lip sweater were spotted during the telecast of the Royals' victory over the White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field that clinched K.C.'s playoff appearance. The Royals advanced to last year's World Series, but lost in seven games to San Francisco.

Justin Breen says the mustache has been years in the making:

Scheuch tweeted up a storm before, and especially during, this postseason. Here are some of his top social posts:
