OLD TOWN — More than a dozen eateries in the neighborhood — both new and old — are offering deals, special menu items and cooking demonstrations next week.
The fourth annual Old Town Restaurant Week, a week-long promotion put on by the Old Town Merchants & Residents Association, begins Monday and ends Oct. 31.
Here's what you can expect from the participating restaurants:
The VIG, 1527 N. Wells St.: $13 special that includes VIG Burger or Moroccan turkey burger and draft beer
Salpicon, 1252 N. Wells St.: Prix-fixe dinner special
Orso's Restaurant, 1401 N. Wells St.: Prix-fixe lunch and dinner specials
Corcoran's Grill & Pub, 1615 N. Wells St.: Free appetizer with purchase of $15 or more
Pomp & Circumstance, 1400 N. Wells St.: Bourbon tasting and $1 oysters on Oct. 28 from 5 - 8 p.m.
The Fireplace Inn, 1448 N Wells St.: 20 percent off entire food and drink menu (excluding tax and gratuity)
Benchmark, 1510 N Wells St.: Half price pizza specials from 5 - 10 p.m.
Tavern On Wells, 1208 N. Wells St.: $19 special that includes any dish on the menu, one house salad, as well as one alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink of choice
Old Town Pub, 1339 N. Wells St.: $5 small one topping pizza special
Woodies Flat, 1535 N. Wells St.: Special that includes three-course meal featuring a specialty burger
Delightful Pastries, 1710 N. Wells St.: $15 lunch with dessert special
Bistrot Margot, 1437 N. Wells St.: Paired item and glass of Burgundy all week and Burgundy tasting on Oct. 28 from 6 - 8 p.m.
Dinotto Pizza e Vino, 1551 N. Wells St.: $15 specialty pizza and beer special. A pizza making class will be held on Oct. 29 from 5 - 7 p.m.
Kamehachi, 1531 N. Wells St.: Amuse Bouche menu specials from Oct. 24 – 30. Sake tasting and discussion on Oct. 27 and Oct. 29 from 6 - 6:30 p.m.
O'Briens Restaurant, 1528 N. Wells St.: $14 burger and New Belgium seasonal craft beer special. A New Belgium beer tasting will be held on Oct. 27 from 5-7 p.m.
