LINCOLN SQUARE — Not everyone is happy that renovations to the Davis Theater are about to get underway.
@pattywetli couldn't they wait until after the new @starwars comes out?

Deep breaths, people. You'll still be able to catch the upcoming holiday season blockbusters at your favorite Lincoln Square movie house that's within walking distance.
Owner Tom Fencl tells DNAinfo.com that his team was taking a phased approach to construction.
First up: Building out a restaurant and bar in the pair of storefronts that used to house Ravenswood Used Books and La Bocca Della Verita. These spaces actually run parallel to the Davis' theater screens.
During this phase, the two rear screens will shut down, but the Davis' pair of front screens will remain open until the end of January, Fencl said.
Renovation work will then start on the lobby and final two theaters. It's only during this last phase that the Davis, 4614 N. Lincoln Ave., will completely close.
Alas, that means you'll have to see "Zoolander 2" elsewhere.
