HYDE PARK — Fans of political comedy will get a glimpse behind the camera during a visit from Scott Carter, producer of “Real Time with Bill Maher.”
Carter will be at the Institute of Politics, 5707 S. Woodlawn Ave., at the University of Chicago at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
Carter will talk about his 20 years trying to keep the comedy edgy while keeping political and celebrity guests happy and engaged in the conversation.
The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited and guests are encouraged to reserve a seat by visiting the event website.
