UPTOWN — Things got a little scary and real groovy in Buttercup Park this weekend.
Saturday, a flash mob of dancing zombies invaded the park at 4901 N. Sheridan Road for an ode to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video. The performance, which kicked off the monthly Uptown Saturday Nights celebration, took Uptown residents a few weeks of practice to perfect.
About 30 residents participated in the performance, which was choreographed by Jonathan Mayo a.k.a. Michael.
