Volunteers Wanted To Prepare For First Trinity's 150th Anniversary

BRIDGEPORT — First Lutheran Church of the Trinity is looking for volunteers to help prepare for its 150th anniversary celebration.

Set for Nov. 1 at 643 W. 31st St., the celebration runs from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m, featuring a breakfast, worship procession and reception.

Here’s a look at the volunteer schedule:

Oct. 29

5-7 p.m. — Set up auditorium.

Oct. 30

4-7 p.m. — Decorate auditorium and kitchen.

Oct. 31

10 a.m.-1 p.m. — Decorate church sanctuary.

Nov. 1

9 a.m. — Set up for breakfast.

10 a.m. — Help with face painting and crafts.

Noon — Play an instrument or perform in Dia De Los Muertos procession.

4:30 p.m. — Clean up.
