EDGEWATER — Changes to the ward's city garbage pick-up schedule are already in effect throughout the majority of the neighborhood, save for a small pocket of residents near Rogers Park and West Ridge.

For those who rely on the city for trash removal and live north of Bryn Mawr, the pick up day is now Tuesday — not Friday, Ald. Harry Osterman (48th) said in an email to residents.

Homes south of Bryn Mawr will keep the normal schedule.

The exception is in the area between Devon and Granville to the north and south and Broadway and Clark to the east and west.

Neighbors living in that area will have a Tuesday pick-up.
