CHICAGO — The pandemonium is real. The Cubs are more than alive and it's October.
While fans bask in the team's most exciting win in recent memory, an innocent orange Gatorade cooler from the Pirates' dugout is recovering from a brutal beating.
That cooler, which was punished by the Pirate's first baseman Sean Rodriguez after a bench-clearing brawl during the Wild Card game Wednesday, has become Internet famous overnight.
Here are some of our favorite works of art the Internet has created to memorialize that orange water jug.

As of Thursday afternoon, Rodriguez had reportedly apologized to his fans and to the water cooler. The water cooler allegedly accepted the apology, though DNAinfo Chicago could not independently confirm it.
