OLD TOWN — Looking for some new house plants?
Head to the corner of Wells Street and Evergreen Avenue Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. for this year's installment of the Old Town Merchants & Residents Association's free plant giveaway.
It'd be wise to get there earlier rather than later, seeing as the plants, which lined Wells Street in the summer, will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, according to the association.
Those who come out must bring a trash bag or some type of bag to transport the plants.
This week folks from Old Town Gardens, 1555 N. Wells St., will be at work planting new fall flowers in the neighborhood.
They'll also be on hand at the giveaway, offering tips on plant care.
