ALBANY PARK — From a wetland walk to a paleta crawl to a viking-themed bike ride, Go Albany Park has encouraged people to get out and explore the neighborhood this summer whether on two feet or two wheels.

The program, which kicked off in June, officially comes to an end Tuesday night with a 5k run/walk for peace led by Ald. Deb Mell (33rd).

Meet at 6:30 p.m. at Roosevelt High School, 3436 W. Wilson Ave., to warm up before the run, which starts at 7 p.m.

Athletico Physical Therapy will lead participants in a post-run stretch and will also offer injury screenings.
