LINCOLN PARK — A wood-fired pizza joint and cafe is coming to a storefront next to the Armitage Brown Line stop.

Bricks Wood Fired Pizza & Cafe is opening its first city spot in the former Einstein Bros Bagels location at 948 W. Armitage Ave. The chain also has locations in Lombard, Wheaton and Naperville.

Signs went up in the storefront windows earlier this week. Owner Bill Wilson confirmed the opening, but couldn't immediately provide an opening date.

The menu includes pizzas baked in traditional wood-fired brick ovens for $11-$15, salads, sandwiches and craft beers, according to the restaurant's website.

Stay tuned for an opening date.
