IRVING PARK — Trade you a Dickens for a pumpkin?

Sunday's Independence Park farmers market features not only the expected produce vendors, but also a book swap.

Bring a book, take a book or do both, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 3945 N. Springfield Ave. The swap will take place at the Greater Independence Park Neighborhood Association's table. No magazines, CDs or DVDs.

Any books remaining at the end of the swap will be donated. Adult titles will be given to Open Books, which provides literacy education and also delivers books to readers of all ages through its book grant program. Children's books will go to PCC Community Wellness Centers, which provides a new book to every child at their well-child visit.
