LINCOLN SQUARE — He's eaten 16 pounds of bovine brains that may or may not have been tainted with Mad Cow disease, but not even the great Takeru Kobayashi could stomach an entire deep dish pizza.

At least not in a non-competitive setting, the six-time Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest champ confessed to DNAinfo Chicago.

Kobayashi has been in town the last three days to provide publicity support to pals Pat Bertoletti and Tim Brown, owners of Taco In A Bag. Support that unbeknownst to him would include taking part in a goat-eating challenge.

On Monday, Bertoletti treated his guest to the most touristy of tourist experiences — deep dish pizza.

So did Kobayashi polish off his own pie? Or two?

"No way," he said. "We shared."

Catch Kobayashi in action during Tuesday's "Reverse the Curse" goat challenge.
