CHICAGO — Nine people were hurt in shootings across the city between Saturday morning and Sunday morning, police said.

A 36-year-old man was shot twice in Albany Park early Sunday morning, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

A man and a woman were not the intended targets of a shooting in West Humboldt Park Saturday afternoon, Sedevic said.

• In the most recent shooting, around 3:40 a.m. Sunday morning, two men were shot while sitting in a car in the 400 block of North Ridgeway Avenue in East Garfield Park, Sedevic said.

One of the men, 22, was brought to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound in his leg and a graze wound on his head, Sedevic said.

The other man, 36, was brought to Norwegian Hospital with a graze wound to his leg, Sedevic said.

Both men were listed in stable condition, Sedevic said.

Police said both men are being uncooperative with authorities.

• At 2:35 a.m. Sunday, a 32-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 500 block of East 75th Street in Greater Grand Crossing when he heard gunshots and felt pain, Sedevic said.

The man was taken Jackson Park Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition with a gunshot wound in his ankle, Sedevic said.

• About 20 minutes earlier, Sedevic said, a 22-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 2500 block of West Jackson Boulevard in East Garfield Park when he heard shots and felt pain.

An acquaintance drove the man to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition with a gunshot wound in his back, Sedevic said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

• At 9:50 p.m., a 32-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 2400 block of West Fillmore Street in North Lawndale when he heard gunshots and felt pain, Sedevic said.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition after being shot in his left thigh and his ankle, Sedevic said.

Police said the man is a self-admitted gang member.

• Around 5:30 p.m. Saturday night, Sedevic said, a 24-year-old man was sitting in a parked car in the 8800 block of South Wood Street in Auburn Gresham when someone pulled up in a blue sedan and shot at him, Sedevic said.

The man was brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, Sedevic said, with gunshot wounds in his abdomen and his hip.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.
