WEST HUMBOLDT PARK — A 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were hurt in a shooting in West Humboldt Park Saturday afternoon, police said.

Around 3:10 p.m., the two were walking on the sidewalk in the 1200 block of North Karlov Avenue when they heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Police said several men were shooting a block away, and both victims were unintended targets.

The woman was brought to Stroger Hospital, Sedevic said, where he was in stable condition with a gunshot wound in his left arm.

The man drove himself to Saint Mary's Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition after being shot in his leg, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody, Sedevic said.
