ANDERSONVILLE — Boystown staples Replay and Elixir Lounge have one final hurdle to clear before they can open their spinoff bar and restaurant in Andersonville: the weekend.
Replay Andersonville, at 5368 N. Clark St., and Elixir Lounge Andersonville, at 1507 W. Balmoral Ave., will open their doors Tuesday, a spokesman for the company confirmed Thursday.
The two restaurants have had Andersonville "in their sights for more than two years," Sean Kotwa, the LKH MGMT's managing partner said in a previous news release. The management team that runs the beloved Boystown bars decided to expand to neighborhood because it's "one of the best neighborhoods in the nation," according to Mark Liberson, the group's president.
Unlike the Near North Side outpost, Replay Andersonville will serve food, including lunch and dinner all week as well as weekend brunch. But it'll also be similar to the Boystown bar, with more than 24 craft beers on tap and iconic vintage video games, including a pinball machine.
As for Elixir Lounge Andersonville, expect "creative and classic" cocktails, which the Lakeview bar is known for. The new bar will also serve small plates. Both bars will have outdoor spaces.
