NORTH CENTER — In an unusual move for a bookseller, Ravenswood Used Books is encouraging people not to read.
Instead, performers from the Runaways Lab Theatre will recite texts as part of a new monthly series, "Plays," which debuts Wednesday night.
Members of the Runaways will perform dramatic readings of their favorite plays — like a live book on tape — starting with "The Seven Descents of Myrtle" by Tennessee Williams.
The event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., 2005 W. Montrose Ave.
