Alderman, Police Commander, Legislators Will Attend Town Hall Meeting

MOUNT GREENWOOD — A town hall meeting for the 19th Ward will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences in Mount Greenwood.

The meeting at 3857 W. 111th St. is meant to discuss various issues and concerns within the neighborhoods of Beverly, Morgan Park and Mount Greenwood.

Ald. Matt O'Shea (19th), Morgan Park Police Cmdr. Mark Harmon, state Rep. Fran Hurley (D-35th) and state Sen. Bill Cunningham (D-18th) will be on hand to meet with residents and participate in the discussion.

Representatives from various city departments will also be in attendance to discuss issues related to streets and sanitation, transportation and other concerns.

The event is hosted by the 19th Ward, the Mount Greenwood Community and Business Association, the Mount Greenwood Civic Association and the Mount Greenwood Residents Association.
