Parisian Street Artist KASHINK Leads Workshop in Lincoln Park

LINCOLN PARK — Calling all street artists: Enter to win a spot at prominent Parisian artist KASHINK's upcoming workshop.

Arts organization Prime 8 Art League has teamed up with Chicago Truborn and Copic Markers to put on a street art workshop at the Lincoln Park outpost of Blick Art Materials, 1574 N. Kingsbury St., from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Twenty artists will be randomly selected to participate in the workshop with KASHINK, a French street artist known for her "protean characters with multiple eyes or skulls, all in a colorful graphic style," according to the bio on her website.

Those who don't get selected are still encouraged to stop by the free event.

There will also be a secret raffle, with proceeds benefiting the free art school Marwen
