
SOUTH LOOP — Darryl "DMC" McDaniels of pioneering rap group Run-DMC will headline this weekend's inaugural Motor Row Beer & Wine Fest.
The festival will run from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday along the 1600-1800 blocks of South Wabash Avenue. South Loop breweries including Motor Row, Vice District, and Baderbrau will be pouring, and a collection of vintage cars harkening to the neighborhood's past will also be present.
A $35 tasting pass will be good for up to 15 beer-and-wine samples. Otherwise, a $5 admission fee will go toward the Prairie District Neighborhood Alliance.

2:30 p.m.: The Right Now (soul & pop)
4 p.m.: The Shadows of Knight (blues rock)
5:30 p.m.: Cheer-Accident (rock)
7:15 p.m.: Stone Cold Cash (Johnny Cash tribute)
8:30 p.m.: Environmental Encroachment (theatrical marching band)
