IRVING PARK — Are you hopelessly devoted to "Grease"?

John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John caught (greased) lightning in a bottle during the making of the 1978 classic. Relive the magic during Friday's outdoor screening of the movie musical at Independence Park.

You're going to want to warm up the vocal cords first. This sing-along version invites the audience to join Sandy, Danny and the rest of the Rydell High crew as they warble fan favorites "Summer Nights," "Beauty School Dropout" and "You're the One That I Want."

Bring a blanket, pack a picnic and settle in for an evening of entertainment under the stars starting at 8 p.m. at the park, 3945 N. Springfield Ave.
