NORWOOD PARK — Assemble the minions!
"Despicable Me 2" will light up the night sky Friday as part of St. Thecla's fourth annual Family Movie Night, organizers said.
The 2013 animated film stars the voice of Steve Carell as Gru, a super-villain who adopts three girls and transforms into a super-dad recruited by Lucy — voiced by Kristin Wiig — to fight a really bad guy.
Moviegoers can bring a blanket to watch the flick and are invited to bring a dessert to share at this all-parish family event, organizers said.
The movie will be shown at dusk in the field outside St. Thecla School at Palatine and Oak Park Avenues.
