HYDE PARK — Wentworth District Police are setting up in Washington Park to meet the neighbors.
Officers from the district will participate in National Night Out from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 4 at 5531 S. Martin Luther King Dr. behind the park field house.
Beat officers and local CAPS groups will get together in the park to talk about where they’ve found success fighting crime in the district.
The Wentworth District stretches from the Dan Ryan Expressway to Lake Michigan and 31st Street to 60th Street.
