LINCOLN PARK — Enjoying a drink on the beach just got a whole lot cheaper thanks to the new happy hour law that goes into effect this week.
Castaways Bar & Grill, a favorite for beach volleyball teams at North Avenue Beach, announced it will be offering happy hour specials nearly every weekday.
The ship-shaped bar and restaurant is one of the few spots along the beach to legally enjoy a drink while taking in the sights and sounds of Lake Michigan.
The happy hour deals go into effect this Thursday.
Mondays: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Phil Stefani Signature Restaurant Industry Night: 50 percent off bill for industry people.
Tuesdays: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Rita Tuesday: Half-price margaritas and limeritas.
Wednesdays: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Beer by the Shore: $4 import and craft beers
Thursdays: All day
$22 buckets of domestic beer
