HYDE PARK — Hyde Park author Sara Paretsky will unveil her new book, “Brush Back,” at the Seminary Cooperative Bookstore on July 30.
In Paretsky’s new novel, investigator V. I. Warshawski takes on Chicago’s corrupt politicians and gets embroiled in family politics when she agrees to look into whether and old friend’s mother really bludgeoned her daughter to death.
Paretsky will celebrate the launch of the new book with a party at 6:30 p.m. July 30 at the bookstore, 5751 S. Woodlawn Ave.
