World Series Sox Back in Town for 10-Year Anniversary Weekend

BRIDGEPORT — The World Series Champs are coming back to the neighborhood.

To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the 2005 World Series Championship this weekend, the White Sox will honor the players and coaches from that milestone season.

With events dotting the city, the 2005 World Championship Reunion Weekend will feature the following Sox veterans:

Here’s a look at the schedule:

Saturday — There will be a photo opportunity with Sox players at Champions Plaza, located in front of U.S. Cellular Field's Gate 4 at 10:30 a.m. Fans should be in their seats for the pregame ceremony by 12:25 p.m.
 
Sunday — “A Season to Remember,” a Chicago White Sox Charities event, will give champion players a chance to tell never-before-told tales of the team’s World Series win in front of an audience at the Chicago Theatre. The storytelling begins at 6:30 p.m.

Monday — “The Field of Greens” celebrity golf tournament featuring the World Series champs. The tourney has a shotgun start at 10:15 a.m. at Harborside International Golf Course.
