HYDE PARK — The Hyde Park Jazz Festival has released its schedule of noted jazz composers, ambitious jazz compositions and a host of documentary screenings.

The Hyde Park Jazz Festival will occur on 14 stages from a main stage on the Midway Plaisance to the Kenwood Academy Auditorium to the Rockefeller Chapel sanctuary on Sept. 26-27.

Among the performers announced Tuesday is trumpet player Ambroze Akinmusire, who will perform his 60-minute “Banyan” suite about storytelling and mentorship with a 10-person ensemble twice during the festival.
