HYDE PARK — Kenwood Academy alum will celebrate the school's first decade of existence on Saturday at Harold Washington Park.

Graduates from 1970-80, who know the school at 5015 S. Blackstone Ave. better as Kenwood High School, are invited to the park at 5200 S. Hyde Park Blvd. from 1-7 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to bring food for the third annual picnic, being hosted for the first time at Harold Washington Park after two years at Kenwood Park.

DJs will fill the park with music and there will be a raffle and bid whist and chess tables.

The picnic will set up on the east side of the park near the fountain.
