EDGEBROOK — The annual Edgebrook Garden Walk will benefit the Edgebrook Community Association and the North Branch Arts Center for children, organizers said.

The self-guided garden walk will feature 15 gardens and natural points of interest throughout Edgebrook, Old Edgebrook, North Edgebrook and Wildwood. It will take place from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. July 19, rain or shine.

The gardens to be featured on the walk range from a Japanese masterpiece with a custom bamboo gate, a bee refuge and a perennial butterfly haven, organizers said.

Tickets for the walk, which are $10, will be available in a tent at 6438 N. Kinzua Ave., across from the Metra station.

Volunteers are needed on the day of the event, officials said. Online sign up is available.
