LINCOLN PARK — The former Finkl Steel site in Lincoln Park is a desolate wasteland of rubble.
A handful of excavators was meticulously smashing the walls of the last remaining buildings Thursday morning.
The question of what will be built on the 28 acres of prime real estate is up in the air, but interested parties all agree transportation fixes are a must before any development takes place.
