CANARYVILLE — The Canaryville Improvement Association welcomes residents to the next CAPS meeting, where Chicago Police Department officers will talk about crime and trouble spots in the neighborhood.

A hot topic may include a brutal gang stabbing at Taylor-Lauridsen Park that landed a 30-year-old woman and her 26-year-old brother in the hospital. Police are expected to provide an update on the case, according to Janet McCormick, a member of the Taylor-Lauridsen Park Advisory Council.

The meeting will happen at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Gabriel School hall, 4500 S. Wallace Ave.
