CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was shot in Woodlawn Thursday afternoon, police said.
Around 3:30 p.m., the man was walking in the 800 block of East 65th Street when shots were fired from someone in a passing white SUV, striking him in his right calf, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition, Sedevic said.
No one is in custody for the shooting.
