CHICAGO — In Austin and West Humboldt Park, musical taste in bars spans genres.
The No. 1-requested song from TouchTunes jukeboxes in the 60651 area code, which includes portions of both neighborhoods, was the Bachata tune "Dime Que Falto" by Dominican Republic artist Zacarias Ferreira.
DNAinfo Chicago collected data from TouchTunes, the company that owns those Internet jukeboxes in local bars, and broke it down by ZIP codes.
The data goes from May 1, 2014 to April 30, 2015. Most ZIP codes have at least one TouchTunes device, while others — especially those Downtown — have dozens. A few ZIP codes don't have any, like 60644 in Austin.
