Eat: Over Easy Cafe's cornflake-crusted French toast. Our taste buds are drooling just reading the description — cornflake-crusted brioche French toast with vanilla bean pastry cream and fresh strawberries, served with housemade strawberry syrup. Available only through Sunday. 4943 N. Damen Ave.

Go: Horner Park's farmers market is back for a second season, weekly on Saturdays. Pick up fresh produce, pastries and coffee, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., 2741 W. Montrose Ave.
