
LINCOLN SQUARE — Movies don't get more classic than "The Wizard of Oz" or more contemporary than "The Social Network."
Both films will screen at neighborhood parks as part of the Chicago Park District's Movies in the Parks series.
Oh, and there will be talking Legos too, because it's summer, and everything really is awesome.
The schedule for the greater Lincoln Square-North Center area:
June 13: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)," 8:30 p.m., Winnemac Park, 5100 N. Leavitt St.
July 23: "The Social Network," 8:30 p.m., Richard Clark Park, 3400 N. Rockwell St.
Aug. 4: "The Lego Movie," 8 p.m., River Park, 5100 N. Francisco Ave.
Aug. 13: "Paddington," 8 p.m., Hamlin Park, 3035 N. Hoyne Ave.
Aug. 22: "The Wizard of Oz," 8 p.m., Gross Park, 2708 W. Lawrence Ave.
