CHICAGO — A 30-year-old man was wounded in an Armour Square shooting early Sunday, police said.

Around 1:15 a.m., the 30-year-old passenger was in a car heading southbound in the 3700 block of South Wentworth Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was shot in his wrist and taken to Mercy Hospital in good condition, Sedevic said.
