CHICAGO — A 17-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Monday morning in Rogers Park, police said.

Around 8:10 a.m., the teenager was walking in the 1500 block of West North Shore Avenue when someone in a passing vehicle fired shots, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The 17-year-old suffered a graze wound to his leg and taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston in good condition, Lemmon said.

No one is in custody, police said.
