Police Seek Help Locating Missing Humboldt Park Girl

HUMBOLDT PARK — Police are asking community members for help finding a 13-year-old girl presumed lost from Humboldt Park.

Deonna Smooth went missing from the 4300 block of West Thomas Street and is known to frequent the 4300 block of West Crystal Street, according to police.

The teen was last seen wearing a black and white “Pelle Pelle” jacket with white lettering, black and grey jeans and black, purple and white gym shoes, police said.

Smooth has long brown hair and her fingernails are painted green, according to a police description. She is 5’06 feet tall, 110 pounds with brown eyes and a medium complexion.

She was last seen Sunday, April 26 at around 5 p.m., police said.
