CHICAGO — Police will be stopping cars and looking for drunken drivers during a special DUI checkpoint Friday night in Back of the Yards, police said.
The Roadside Safety Check in the Deering District will run from 7 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday at 4300 S. Western Ave.
In addition to drunken drivers, police will be looking for people not wearing seatbelts and other traffic violations.
